Brainticket - Cottonwoodhill (1971)

German Psychedelic Rock. Lot of effects, notable on the vocals of the first track, some musique concrete influence. Repetitive, most of the album is built on the same riff. Doesn't sound dated like similar music from the period.

Pyramids - Pyramids (2008)

Post-Metal shoegazey guitars double bass pedal drums breathy vocals, barely any semblance of song structure.

Mount Eerie - Wind's Poem (2009)

One of my favorite releases this year. Elverum adopts a Black Metal aesthetic, minus the harsh vocals. Big contrast to last year's Lost Wisdom, this album can be LOUD. Still very much a Mount Eerie album though, with the same level of songwriting you'd expect from him.

The Gerogerigegege - Tokyo Anal Dynamite (1990)

Absurd Japanoise Rock. Song formula is as follows: Singers yells the name of the song, shouts 1,2,3,4, 30 seconds of vaguely organized noise, stop, repeat.

My Bloody Valentine - Loveless (1991)

You should have this already. It's BY FAR the greatest album of all time.
